The many facets of Rising Root Wellness
Thai Yoga Massage
Rising Root Wellness mainly offers Thai Yoga massage, a series of rhythmic stretches and joint rotation coupled with broad and pointed compression. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body session that relieves tension in deep muscles, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
You can find Rising Root Wellness out in the community. From Santa Cruz County Juvenile Hall, UCSC Cantu Queer Center to the Museum of Art & History, Rising Root Wellness is committed to bringing healing to under-served members of this community.
Mobile Massage Studio
Rising Root Wellness envisions to expand their practice and multiple the accessibility of body healing services by renovating a school bus into a tranquil mobile massage studio! Donate today to help build this healing laboratory aiming to provide affordable healthy touch to the marginalized population of Santa Cruz County.
About what essentially drives Rising Root Wellness.
Rising Root Wellness practices a client-centered approach that listens to the needs of each individual. This approach creates a wholistic session to promote personal growth based on acceptance, understanding and sharing.
Specializing in Thai Yoga Massage, clients are exposed to immediate and preventive benefits of massage. Massage is shown to improve joint and muscle aches especially in painful areas of the neck and back. It can help reduce blood pressure, relieve arthritis, and even increase immunity to colds and flu.
Also massage effectively reduces stress, prevents burnout and replenishes the mind. Relaxed workers and family members are more likely to cooperate with each other. Lowering stress lowers both anxiety and hostility, improving the work and home environment for everyone.
Rising Root Wellness' approach is sensitive and rooted from a critically conscious lens. They are driven to be a part of a movement that focuses on re-routing and re-distributing the healing art of massage to a population that is systematically targeted and marginalized in our society.
